How to Keep Your Business Safe This Festive Season: Tips by Kendra Ross

If you like beer and cyber security then chances are you have met Kendra Ross or heard of her community networks 1stTuesday or Project Wednesday.

Kendra, a dyslexic thinker, co-founded Duo, NZs largest Cyber Security wholesaler and PSDuo, NZ’s only InfoSec Skills resourcing business for the channel. These were sold to Sektor in 2019 & Kendra is now the GM for Duo, a division of Sektor specialising still in cyber security now covering 5 countries.

Kendra was announced in the IPSEC Global Top 20 Thought Leaders in Cyber Security in September 2020.  Appointed to the CERT NZ Establishment Board in 2016, Kendra served for 3 and a half years, she was also appointed to the Tech Futures Advisory Board in 2018 and advises on Post Grad programmes in Future Tech.

A special highlight of her career was delivering the graduation speech to Massey School of Business in 2017,  the University Kendra dropped out of! A wife and mother of two teenagers Kendra is passionate about building Cyber Security awareness across the community to create a resilient NZ for future generations to come.
